Itinerary -


Day 01: Arrive Kolkata


Upon arrival at Kolkata international airport meet with our representative and transfer to the hotel. Overnight stay at hotel.


Day 02: Kolkata 


Morning after breakfast full day city sightseeing tour of Kolkata visiting Indian Museum, Park Street, Maidan and Fort William, Rabindra Sadan, Aurobindo Bhavan and Bhuwalka Bhawan, Victoria memorial. The evening is scheduled for more places like St Paul's Cathedral, Mother Teresa's homes.
Kolkata is an amalgamation of many different cultures which is greatly influenced by the British Raj and also known as the City of Joy. Kolkata is also a historic city of India as it has its unique culture and heritage and has been the hub for intellectuals, artists, and other literary and contemporary figures like Shri Rabindranath Tagore, Satyajit Ray, and Mother Teresa etc who have greatly influenced Indian society as a whole.


Day 03: Kolkata - Guwahati - Kaziranga


Transfer to airport to board flight to Guwahati. Upon arrival at Guwahati airport meet with our representative. And after a welcome meet we will leave for Kaziranga national park, the home to one horned Rhinoceros and holds a record population of more than 80% of the one horned Rhino in the world. The Kaziranga national park is situated 220 km from Guwahati, the capital of Assam. Upon arrival at Kaziranga check into the wildlife resort. Evening free at leisure. Overnight stay at wildlife resort.


Day 04: Kaziranga


Today onwards we will start our wildlife exploration in Kaziranga National Park, as we will awake a little early and get ready to enjoy our very first safari to the national park. The safari will take us to the very narrow path of the national park and will enhance the chances to get closer to the wildlife. The central range of the national park is mix of Grassland and Woodland. Later we will return to the resort for breakfast.
After breakfast we will again enjoy our wildlife safari to central range. This time we will go on Jeep safari. The mammals apart from the Rhino, other species found here are, hog deer, swamp deer, wild buffalo, Elephants and tigers.
Later return to the resort and enjoy the ambiance or get rest till lunch. After lunch we will again visit the national park for our second vehicle safari of the day.
Later return to the resort. Overnight stay in wildlife resort.


Day 05: Kaziranga


This morning we will go for the Eastern Range of the National Park for Jeep safari. The eastern range of Kaziranga known as Agoratoli consists mostly of woodland and is famous for its wide variety of Birds. It is home to a variety of migratory birds and is also known to have large population of Wild Elephants. During our exploration in Agoratoli we will visit the Shola water body and here once can stop for sometimes at Shohola Tower to view the birdlife and other animals. This will be the last stoppage of our Jeep safari in Eastern range. Later we will return to the resort for lunch.
After lunch we will go for a dedicated birding tour of Kaziranga. Here we will explore the Burapahar Range of the national park. We will drive from our resort to the nearest place from where we will start our trekking or walk inside the Burapahar range of the National Park.
In the evening return to the resort for overnight stay.


Day 06: Kazirnaga - Guwahati - New Jalpaiguri


Today morning return to Guwahati. Upon arrival we will go for a short tour of Guwahati visiting the famous Kamakhya Devi temple.
Later in the evening transfer to the railway station to board the train for New Jalpaiguri. Overnight stay on board.


Day 07: Arrive New Jalpaiguri - Jaldapara


Upon arrival at New Jalpaiguri railway station meet with our representative and drive to Jaldapara National Park. Upon reaching transfer to the wildlife resort. Rest of the day free to enjoy the calm serenity around the resort. Overnight stay at resort.


Day 08: Jaldapara


Today morning we will awake a little early and will move for a safari in Jaldapara national park for wildlife viewing. Later return to the resort for breakfast.
After breakfast enjoy the atmosphere and the glimpse of nature around the wildlife resort.
After lunch we will again visit to the National Park. This time we will enjoy our jeep safari to the national park to explore its exquisite beauty of the vast grassland. The National park is well famous for the Indian one one-horned rhinoceros and holds the highest rhino population in India after Kaziranga National Park. The other fauna found in Jaldapara are tigers, elephants, deers, sambar, wild pig and bison and a number of avifauna are also found in Jaldapara which make it a paradise for bird watchers, the avifauna are the Bengal Florican, crested eagle, Pallas's fishing eagle, jungle fowl, peafowl, partridges, and lesser pied hornbill etc.
Later return to the resort for overnight stay.


Day 09: Jaldapara
This morning we will again enjoy jeep safari to explore the Jaldapara national park. Later return to the resort. After lunch we will have an excursion to the Totopara village, situated 22 km from Madarihat, which is the entry point to Jaldapara. This small village is located on the bank of River Torsa and housed by Toto tribe. Toto are the primitive tribe in Dooars. The village is situated 22 km from Jaldapara. Totopara is bordered by Bhutan to the North, Torsa River to the East and Titi River and Titi Reserve on the South-West and separated by Hauri River. Later return to Jaldapara for overnight stay.


Day 10: Jaldapara - Gangtok


Today after breakfast at the hotel we will leave for the capital of Sikkim, Gangtok. Upon reaching transfer to the hotel. After fresh-n-up we will go on city sightseeing tour of Gangtok visiting the Rumtek Monastery, Banjhakri Falls, Institute of Tibetology (closed on Sunday), Do-dul-Chorten, Flower Exhibition centre, etc. Later return to the hotel for overnight stay.


Day 11: Gangtok


Today we start our day a little early with a hill drive to Tsomgo lake (12400 ft), which is located 40 kms far from Gangtok. Tsomgo is almost about 1 Km long and 15 mtrs deep. The lake is considered sacred by the local people.
If possible we will visit to Baba Harbhajan Singh temple, which will be further 16 kms from the lake.
Later return to Gangtok. Afternoon free at Leisure or you can enjoy shopping by own. Overnight stay at hotel.


Day 12: Gangtok - Darjeeling


Morning after breakfast we will leave for next exotic destination - Darjeeling enjoying the hill drive crossing numerous hill gardens. Upon reaching Darjeeling transfer to the hotel. Evening free at leisure or to explore the mall. Overnight stay at hotel.


Day 13: Darjeeling


Today we will start our day a little early, starting at 4.00 am, following a drive to visit the Tiger hill (it is the sunrise point over Mt. Khangchendzonga), the glimpse of sunrise from here will give you a different charm. Further we will return to Darjeeling. On our way back we will visit Ghoom Monastery & Batasia Loop.
Later check in to the hotel. After fresh-n-up and breakfast we will go on half day local city sighting tour of Darjeeling visiting Himalayan Mountaineering Institute, P.N. Zoological Park (closed on Thursday) Tenzing Rock, Tibetan Refugee Centre (closed on Sunday), Tea Garden (outer view), and Japanese Temple.
Late afternoon free for leisure or you can enjoy shopping at the Mall. Overnight stay at hotel.


Day 14: Darjeeling - Bagdogra - Kolkata


After breakfast leave for Bagdogra airport. Upon arrival board the flight for Kolkata. Upon arrival at Kolkata airport meet with our representative and transfer to the hotel. Evening free for shopping and own activity. Overnight stay at hotel.


Day 15: Kolkata - Kathmandu


Morning transfer to the international airport to board the flight for Kathmandu. Upon arrival at Kathmandu airport meet with our company representative and transfer to the hotel.
After fresh-n-up we will visit the famous Pashupatinath temple. This is the place where holy sadhus pray and cremations on the Bagmati River are carried out. While you are not allowed into the temple if you are not a Hindu, the grounds surrounding the temple usually have a fascinating crowd of the faithful. Overnight at hotel.


Day 16: Kathmandu


Morning after breakfast we will go for an excursion to the city of Patan, also known as Lalitpur, the city of beauty is separated from Kathmandu only by the Bagmati River and is the second largest town in the valley. Lalitpur is fragmented from other cities due to its substantive architectural ancient masterpieces. Patan's central Durbar Square is absolutely packed with temples: It's an architectural center point with a far greater concentration of temples per sq. meter than in Kathmandu or Bhaktapur. Within the city also lies the Tibetan refugee center, home to most of the valley's Tibetan population. While technically refugees, the Tibetans are some of the wealthiest people in the valley because of the carpet industry they operate. For those looking to bring home a fine Tibetan carpet, this is the place to shop.
Later we will visit Swayambhunath the golden spire of the 5th-century Swayambhu stupa is adorned with a colorful fluttering of prayer flags; it crowns a hill overlooking the Kathmandu Valley and offers fantastic views over the city of Kathmandu. Swayambhunath is one of the most recognizable symbols in Nepal and the painted eyes of Buddha watch all who ascend the worn stone steps.


Day 17: Kathmandu - Chitwan


Today we will leave for the Chitwan National Park famous for the Rhinos and is a UNESCO world heritage site. Chitwan National Park is located about 146 km from the capital city Kathmandu with a traveling distance of 06 hrs. Situated in the foothills of Churia ranges is the first national park of Nepal. About 56 species of mammals are found in Chitwan including the one-horned rhinoceros, Royal Bengal tiger, rhesus monkey, langur, deer, leopard, gaur, wild boar, wild dog and wild cat and about 49 species of amphibians and reptiles are found in Royal Chitwan national park including the endangered long snouted gharial, marsh mugger crocodile and python.
The Chitwan National Park is also very rich in avian life and about 539 species of birds have been recorded here. Some of these are the summer migrant birds like paradise flycatcher, Indian pitta and parakeets etc. during, while winter birds include waterfowl, Brahminy ducks, pintails, bar-headed geese, cormorants and migratory birds from Siberia etc.


Day 18: Chitwan National Park


Today we will enjoy our full day wildlife activities in Chitwan National Park. During our Jungle activities in Chitwan we will be enjoying Jeep safaris and boat safaris which provide an excellent opportunities for birding and a great chance to see four kinds of deer, rhinoceros, monkeys, sloth bear, gaur and many other smaller mammals.
In the evening enjoy the tribal dance with bonfire offered by the resort. Overnight stay at wildlife resort.


Day 19: Chitwan - Kathmandu - Kolkata


After an early breakfast we will leave for Kathmandu. Upon reaching transfer to the Tribhuvan airport to board the flight for Kolkata. Upon arrival at Delhi International airport meet with our representative and transfer to the hotel. Overnight stay at hotel.


Day 20: Departure


Transfer to the Kolkata international airport on time to board the flight for onward destination.
